§ 16-145. Fire Protection District No. 2 (Sibley)—Created; boundaries.

Pursuant to the provisions of a resolution adopted by the police jury of the Parish of Webster, State of Louisiana, on the fourth day of August, 1987, notice is hereby given of the creation of a fire protection district within the Parish of Webster, State of Louisiana, which fire protection district embraces all of that territory within the following described boundaries:

Township 17 North, Range 9 West: Sections 4, 5, 6 and 7. All of Section 8 north and west of Brushy Creek. All of Section 9 north and west of Brushy Creek. All of Section 17 north and west of Brushy Creek. All of Section 18 north of Brushy Creek and north of the meander line of Lake Bistineau.

Township 17 North, Range 10 West: Section 1 north and east of meander line of Lake Bistineau. Section 12 east of meander line of Lake Bistineau. Section 13 north and east of meander line of Lake Bistineau.

Township 18 North, Range 10 West: Section 24 north and east of Horseshoe Bend Road and south of Highway 164. Section 25 east of Bayou Dorcheat. Section 36 east of meander line of Lake Bistineau and of Bayou Dorcheat.

Township 18 North, Range 9 West: All of Section 4 west of Highway 7. Section 5 east of Dorcheat Bayou. Section 6 east of Dorcheat Bayou. Section 7 east of Dorcheat Bayou. Section 8 east of Dorcheat Bayou. Section 11 west of the Penal Farm Road. Section 17 east of Dorcheat Bayou. Section 18 east of Dorcheat Bayou. Section 19, except that portion north of Highway 164 and west of Bayou Dorcheat. Section 30 east of Bayou Dorcheat. Section 23 north of Webster Parish Road 159. All of Sections 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32 and 33.

Pursuant to the provisions of an ordinance adopted by the Police Jury of the Parish of Webster, State of Louisiana, on January 7, 2014, notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of Part I, Chapter 7, Title 40 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, and other constitutional and statutory authority supplemental thereto, notice is hereby given that the boundaries of Fire Protection District No. 2 (Sibley) of the Parish of Webster, State of Louisiana have been amended and reduced to remove the area encompassed by the present boundaries of the Town of Sibley, State of Louisiana.
