§ 9-2. Dumping or disposing of waste or refuse on or in parish-owned solid waste disposal areas.

  • (a)

    No person shall dump or dispose of any waste material or refuse on any part of a solid waste disposal area owned or under the control of and operated by the Webster Parish Police Jury without the permission of the operator in charge and shall dump or dispose of the waste or refuse in the area designated by the operator.

    (b)

    Any person dumping or disposing of solid waste material or refuse on any solid waste disposal area owned or under the control of the Webster Parish Police Jury, without the permission of the operator in charge, and in an area not designated by the operator in charge, shall be in violation of this section.

    (c)

    Whosoever shall violate any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by incarceration on the Webster Parish Penal Farm for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or both; and in addition shall perform not less than two (2) and not more than ten (10) eight-hour days of community service.
