§ 9-39. Use of landfills.

(a)

Generally. Webster Parish owns, operates and maintains sanitary landfills for the disposal of garbage, trash, tires and other refuse, by individual households, nonprofit organizations, school systems, and public agencies, and authorized commercial haulers and commercial users, in accordance with the state department of natural resources, solid waste division.

(b)

Unlawful deposit of certain materials. Materials subject to special disposal or handling regulations of the state department of natural resources, solid waste division, shall not be deposited in the parish landfills.
