§ 20-34. Disposal of effluents; methods; prohibitions.

Outside of legally incorporated cities, towns and villages of Webster Parish, septic tank effluents shall be disposed of in a manner approved by the Webster Parish Health Unit. The discharge of septic tank effluents into streets, gutters, ditches, or onto the surface of the ground is strictly prohibited. Effluents discharged after adequate secondary treatment as approved by the Webster Parish Health Unit may be discharged onto the ground but not onto any public property or on any public rights-of-way.
