§ 20-33. Operation of sewerage systems; responsibility.

The owner of any property on which a septic tank or subsurface disposal lines are located is hereby responsible for its successful operation. On any property, or properties where soil porosity, or boundary limitations does not afford the complete absorption of septic tank effluent, the owner must abandon such system and provide a waste disposal system that can be approved by the Webster Parish Health Unit.
