§ 16-155. Fire Protection District No. 10.
Pursuant to the provisions of an ordinance adopted by the Police Jury of the Parish of Webster, State of Louisiana, on October 1, 2013, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the provisions of Part I, Chapter 7, Title 40 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, and other constitutional and statutory authority supplemental thereto, notice is hereby given that the boundaries of Fire Protection District No. 10 of the Parish of Webster, State of Louisiana have been amended and reduced to remove the following areas from the boundaries of the District:
Section 29, Township 19 North, Range 9 West: All that part of West Half of the Southwest Quarter (W/2 of SW/4) lying South of Old U.S. Highway 80 (now abandoned), less and except a 10 acre tract belonging to the State of Louisiana and Department of Highways.
Section 30, Township 19 North, Range 9 West: All that part of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4) lying South of Old U.S. Highway 80 (now abandoned).
Section 31, Township 19 North, Range 9 West: The East Half of the Northwest Quarter (E/2 of NW/4) lying North of the Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way, less all that part previously annexed into the Corporate Limits of the Village of Dixie Inn.
And
The Northeast Quarter (NE/4) lying North of the Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way, less all that part previously annexed into the Corporate Limits of the Village of Dixie Inn.
Section 32, Township 19 North, Range 9 West: All that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SW/4 of NW/4) lying North of the Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way and West of Dorcheat Bayou, less all that part previously annexed into the Corporate Limits of the Village of Dixie Inn.
TRACT A:
Begin at a point where the East right-of-way of old U.S. Highway 80 intersects the West right-of-way of new U.S. Highway 80, to point of beginning and thence run North 23 degrees 38 minutes East 440 feet thence run South 65 degrees 18 minutes East 272.30 feet, thence run South 56 degrees 10 minutes West 120.20 feet; thence run South 33 degrees 50 minutes East 10 feet; thence run South 56 degrees 10 minutes West 395.67 feet to the point of beginning, together with all improvements thereon and all rights thereto belonging and being the shaded 1.46 acre tract shown on the attached plat of survey, dated July 29, 1964 prepared by Sammie L. Craft, C.D., and lying in the East Half of the Northwest Quarter (E/2 of NW/4, Section 31, Township 19 North, Range 9 West, Webster Parish, Louisiana, and being a portion of the property acquired by Vendor from Mrs. Ada Hemier et al by credit sale dated October 1, 1964 appearing of record under registry number 193861 in the Webster Parish Conveyance records.
