§ 16-143. Same—Publication of notice; repealer; severability.

Now therefore, be it resolved that this district shall be created by the Webster Parish Police Jury, and a publication of notice of the intention to create this district shall be published once per week for two (2) successive weeks, the first publication being not less than fifteen (15) days before the date fixed for the hearing as required by law, in the Minden Press Herald, a newspaper which has general circulation in the territorial district of the Evergreen Fire Protection District. Any resolutions that are in conflict with this resolution are hereby expressly repealed. If any part of this resolution is declared unconstitutional, the balance of the said resolution shall be valid.
