§ 15-20. Conditions of utilization.

  • (a)

    Access to parish roads shall conform to dimension, drainage capability and location in regard to safety.

    (b)

    Temporary accesses may be by dry fill, timber products, or other and shall be removed on completion of work.

    (c)

    When operations are suspended, the crossings are to be free to carry water through.

    (d)

    All accesses to parish roads shall meet the approval of the WPPJ.

    (e)

    Lugged or tracked equipment shall not be used on parish road surfaces with these exceptions:

    (1)

    Road maintenance equipment;

    (2)

    Farm equipment;

    (3)

    Timber equipment moving from one location to another on same job;

    (4)

    Equipment used for mud removal.

    (f)

    Mud tracked on parish roads shall be removed as needed and as required by WPPJ.

    (g)

    Road surfaces shall not be altered in any manner.

    (h)

    Loading on road surfaces or rights-of-ways will not be permitted.

    (i)

    Warning signs shall be posted when deemed necessary by the WPPJ.

    (j)

    Road surfaces and right of way shall be kept free of debris or litter generated by the harvesting of resources.

    (k)

    Exceptions to any of the above conditions shall be only with the direct supervision and approval of the WPPJ.
