§ 15-21. Fees, penalties, damages.
(a)
Fees.
(1)
Applicants shall pay a service charge of ten dollars ($10.00) for the initial registration with no charge for call-in permits, with the exception of residential homes, however, permits still should be obtained.
(2)
Applicants not covered by registration shall pay ten dollars ($10.00) for each permit.
(b)
Penalties.
(1)
The act of utilizing parish roads without first obtaining a permit shall be a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for the first offense, five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the second offense and five hundred dollars ($500.00) and forfeiture of all rights for the acquisition of permit for a period of ninety (90) days for the third offense.

Any person violating this article shall be first warned and given five (5) days to obtain compliance status. Failure to do so, shall subject person to penalties so noted.
(c)
Damages. Damages shall be assessed to persons violating provisions of this article in the amount of the actual cost to the Webster Parish Police Jury for the restoration of the road surface to its condition at the beginning of the project. Failure to pay assessed damages by any person so charged within ten (10) days of written notification, will result in the forfeiture of all rights for the acquisition of permits.
