§ 6-54. Vaccination certificate and tag.

(a)

At the time of the vaccination [required by section 6-53,] the owner of the dog shall be issued a vaccination certificate and a vaccination tag. It shall be a violation of this [article] for [the] owner of the dog to fail to keep said tag securely fastened to the collar or harness of said dog at all times, or to fail to keep said collar or harness on the dog at all times.

(b)

It shall be a violation of this [article] for the owner of any dog to permit said dog to wear any vaccination tag not issued to that particular dog.
