§ 6-21. Unlawful to remove impounded animals without payment of fees.

  • Where any cattle, horses or mules have been impounded, under the provisions of this [article] it shall be unlawful for any person, or persons, other than a regularly commissioned inspector of the Louisiana [State] Livestock Sanitary Board, and the constable of the ward in which said cattle, horses or mules are impounded, to remove said cattle, horses or mules from the pasture or place where so impounded, except upon the payment, in advance, of the fees and charges provided for [in this article].
