§ 4-17. Transport of prohibited beverages through dry areas restricted.

  • No individual, association of individuals, partnerships or corporations shall transport or carry intoxicating liquors intended for sale elsewhere, within [the areas] of Webster Parish, Louisiana [described in section 4-15], over any street, alley, railroad or by any other route, without having in his possession for exhibit an invoice or written and dated statement giving the amount and description of the intoxicating liquors carried or transported with the points of origin and destination and the names of the consignor and consignee and addresses thereof, provided that [this section] shall not apply to a single container, or to two (2) containers, of a gallon or less and failure to comply with this provision shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable as set forth in section [4-18] of this [article].
