Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 4-1. Drinking liquors, etc., in courthouse prohibited.
(a)
Drinking prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to drink any intoxicating, spirituous liquors in the courthouse or courthouse grounds of the Parish of Webster, Louisiana.
(b)
Placing bottles in courthouse prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to place or leave any bottle or flask in the courthouse or on the courthouse grounds of the Parish of Webster, Louisiana.
(c)
Posting. [The clerk of] the police jury shall have [copies of this section] printed on appropriate cards and conspicuously posted in the Webster Parish courthouse.
(d)
Penalties. Any person violating any of the provisions of this [section] shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or be imprisoned for not more than twenty (20) days or both fine and imprisonment may be imposed in the discretion of the court.
