§ 2-41. Created; purpose; authority.

(a)

There is hereby created the Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Commission, said commission being formed for the purpose of carrying out programs and activities designed to attract conventions and tourists into Webster Parish, and hereinafter sometimes referred to as "the commission".

(b)

The commission shall be domiciled in Webster Parish and shall have authority to sue and be sued, but it shall not be construed to be a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana or Webster Parish, Louisiana.
