§ 21-44. Requirement that ambulance be dispatched.

No person shall operate an ambulance in response to an emergency occurring in Webster Parish unless dispatched or cleared by the Webster Parish 911 Communications Center. This requirement shall not apply to medical transportation vehicles and ambulances providing nonemergency, noncritical interhospital transfer and patient transportation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes when such transportation originates at a licensed hospital.
