Art. II. - AMBULANCE SERVICES AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE |
§ 21-37. Additional inspections; failure to pass; reinspection; fees.
The Webster Parish Communications District Board may in its discretion conduct random complete or partial inspections of ambulances and their equipment. Should it be determined pursuant to any such inspection that a vehicle or its equipment fails to comply with any requirement of this article or is not medically or mechanically fit, the Webster Parish Communications District Board shall give written notice of the specific reasons for the vehicles failure to the operator giving him ten (10) days to comply. In the event the operator is in noncompliance after ten (10) days, the Webster Parish Communications District Board will notify the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. Additionally the Webster Parish Communications District Board may waive the ten-day waiting period and immediately notify the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals in cases of gross violations.
