§ 20-31. Installation of private or individual septic tank systems.

Outside of legally incorporated cities, towns and villages of Webster Parish, no private or individual septic tank system shall be installed in Webster Parish with less than two hundred fifty (250) feet of subsurface disposal lines. Lengths of line shall be determined either by percolation or other methods approved by the Webster Parish Health Unit. Alternative methods for disposal or treatment of septic tank effluents may be approved by the Webster Parish Health Unit where subsurface disposal lines are impractical.
