§ 16-202. Board of commissioners.
(a)
Composition; terms. Pursuant to the aforementioned statutory authority, the governing authority of the Webster Parish Communications District shall consist of a board of commissioners composed of nine (9) members, who shall be qualified electors of the district, three (3) of whom shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years of whom shall be appointed for a term of two (2) years, dating from September 4, 1990. Thereafter, all appointments of the members shall be for terms of four (4) years.
(b)
Quorum. A majority of the commission membership shall constitute a quorum and all official action of the commission shall require a quorum.
(c)
Employment authority. The commission shall have authority to employ such employees, experts and consultants as it may deem necessary to assist the commission in the discharge of its responsibilities to the extent that funds are made available.
(d)
Domicile. The domicile of the board of commissioners shall be the Webster Parish Police Jury, Minden, Louisiana.
