§ 16-237. Goals and objectives.
The Webster Parish Water Advisory Board by authority of the Webster Parish Police Jury and in cooperation with existing parish municipal and rural, noncommunity and industrial water suppliers will strive to: Survey and inventory all existing water supply systems in Webster Parish to determine the following points:
Primary clientele served.
Number of meters installed.
Miles of water distribution lines.
Number of wells and pumping capacity of each.
Average 24-hour consumption of water by users.
Water rate schedule.
Deferred improvements required to improve supply and distribution of water, listed by item and estimated cost.
Number of certified small system operators employed by each system.
Operator contact and duties.
The Webster Parish Water Advisory Board will be considered a public entity and therefore subject to all laws and regulations of state and/or local government agencies. i.e.—Open meeting laws, public record laws, public bid laws, audits and reports.
