§ 16-18. District B—Creation, rights, powers.

There is hereby created a road district in Webster Parish, Louisiana, to be known as Road District B of Webster Parish, which road district will have all rights, powers, privileges and duties granted to and imposed on road districts by the provisions of the constitution and laws of the State of Louisiana, as the same may be amended from time to time.

By the provisions of a resolution of Feb. 21, 1972, Road Districts No. 7 and 2, established by resolutions of May 6, 1972, were abolished and a new Road District B was established, comprising the territory formerly occupied by Districts 1 and 2, and formerly codified herein as Div. 1 of this article. Ord. No. 677, enacted on Feb. 21, 1972, called an election for Apr. 1, 1972, on the question of levy of a 3 mill tax for years 1972—1976.
