Article II. ROADS |
§ 16-15. District A—Creation, rights, powers.
There is hereby created a road district in Webster Parish, Louisiana, to be known as Road District A of Webster Parish, which road district will have all rights, powers, privileges and duties granted to and imposed on road districts by the provisions of the constitution and laws of the State of Louisiana, as the same may be amended from time to time.

Section 1 of Res. of Feb. 13, 1973, abolished Road Districts 3, 4 and 5, created by Res. of May 6, 1947, and codified herein as former §§ 16-34—16-36, 16-42—16-44, and 16-50—16-52, respectively, and appearing as Divs. 2, 3 and 4 of this article. Ord. No. 689, enacted Mar. 6, 1973, called an election for Apr. 28, 1973, on the question of levying of a 3 mill tax for the years 1973—1977.
