§ 9-36. Definitions.

  • For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:

    Commercial haulers: A commercial waste hauler is any person operating one or more vehicles for the purpose of removing dry or wet solid waste within the parish and whose business is the hauling of such waste for others on a regular basis for remuneration.

    Commercial users: A commercial user is any person, partnership, firm or corporation whose business, located in the parish, is for financial gain and who disposes of dry or wet solid waste within the parish.
