§ 6-35. Charges for taking up animals at large.
The owner of any animals or fowls [listed in section 6-33] found running at large in Webster Parish, Louisiana, shall be liable to the person or persons taking up and keeping same in the sum of fifty cents ($0.50) for each animal taken up and twenty-five [cents] ($0.25) for each of said fowls taken up; in the further sum of twenty-five cents ($0.25) per day for each said animal kept and ten cents ($0.10) per day for each said fowl kept, dating from the time the notices hereinafter provided for are posted and the person or persons taking up such animals or fowls may hold same until said charges are paid or until said animals or fowls are sold, as hereinafter provided.
