§ 2-23. Parish attorney.

  • (a)

    The district attorney shall be the parish attorney and the legal adviser of the police jury.

    (b)

    The parish attorney's fees shall be those fixed by law.

    (c)

    In the absence of the parish attorney, the police jury shall hire such legal help and advice as they deem necessary.
