§ 17-45. Purpose.
Latest version.
This article is enacted for the purpose of protecting the public from those who solicit business in the Parish of Webster temporarily, and accept money from said public without having a permanent place of business within said parish, and this article shall be liberally construed to effectuate this purpose. None of the provisions of this article shall be construed as to permit the solicitation in places of residence forbidden elsewhere by other statutes and/or ordinances.
