For the purpose of exercising the powers and duties set forth in L.R.S. 33:131 through
144, inclusive, there is hereby created the Northwest Louisiana Regional Planning
Commission. In accordance with Section 132, of L.R.S. 33:131 through 144, the governing
body of this regional planning commission is hereby designated to be the board of
directors of the Coordinating and Development Council of Northwest Louisiana, Inc.
(CDCNL), an economic development district duly authorized by the Governor of the State
of Louisiana, and duly designated by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development
Administration.
