§ 14-20. Same—Appointment of members.

(a)

Appointment to the regional planning commission shall be as follows: The president of the Webster Parish police jury shall appoint the members having the two (2) year and the four (4) year term, the mayor of Minden shall appoint the members having the three (3) year term and the five (5) year term and the president of the police jury and the mayor of Minden shall jointly appoint the member having the one (1) year term.

(b)

The successors of the members of the regional planning commission shall be appointed for a term of five (5) years, from and after the term of their predecessors.

(c)

If a vacancy occurs otherwise than by the expiration of the term it shall be filled by the original appointing authority for the unexpired term.
